Top left - the boards of this deck are laid in RGC's 'chevron' pattern, increasing the slip resitant qualities of the decks grooved surface as well as bringing an attractive pattern to a large area.
Top right - the same view about 6 years later, they did ask for a wild jungly effect!
Below left and 2nd left - the lower platform after 6 years and just after completion.
Centre right & right - mature planting around the 'radial' sandstone paving pattern.
Top left - view from the lower platform. The whole structure with top and bottom decks and wide steps can accomodate about 30 people sitting and standing as at a typical party.
Top middle - the garden opens out after the initial narrow section where the deck overhangs a large comma shaped pond with waterfall rushing from underneath.

Below left - Lawns give us the opportunity to use bold sweeping curves and make the garden feel bigger.
