Phormium williamsii
Left - a young plant seen here in the English Country Garden with Phormium tenax behind, note that every leaf has a completely original and random formation of yellow or green stripes.
Centre - the leaves are very thick and almost cardboard like with a surface that appears to be more shiny than other Phormiums.

Left - another leaf detail - notice the red margins and mid rib. This beautiful plant is very easy to grow like most Phormiums tolerating light shade and most soil types.
