Euphorbia x 'Pasteurii'
Above left
- This is a photo of a young plant growing in a woodland garden at Spinners garden in Hampshire UK. It is a hybrid between E.mellifera and E. Stygiana, the latter is a more compact chunky species from the Azores which reaches tree like sizes.
Above right - This plant is growing in the Carribean Home From Home garden and is now 2m high and 3.5m wide, in a period of 6 years growing in a fairly shady position with root competition from pines and eucalypts and suffering a fair amount of neglect.
Left - E x 'Pasteurii' is a bigger and bolder version of E. mellifera, faster growing and possibly hardier. The leaves are thicker and fleshier and darker green.
